Here’s a few photos from the beginning of Art Basel in Miami. We hung out at the “Work of Genius” party/showing at Eden Roc, and ended up at LIV for the Misshapes and Amanda Blank. Also pictured below are Spencer Product, Peaches and Sophia Lamar. Both parties were a ton of fun, and the perfect start to Art Basel 09′.

Miami Beach on Halloween is crazy every year. From Lincoln Road to Ocean Drive, you are guaranteed to find fun people and cool places. I ended up at the Mondrian this year for the Misshapes party. What I originally thought was only a hotel, actually has a really nice bar inside. Here are the photos from the night, which I can barely even remember.
Overthrow was at it again last friday for their weekly party Misfits at Louis. Although it was the night before Halloween, it may as well have been as the crowd was dressed from nuns to Hannah Montana. Headlining was Tommie Sunshine, a definite crowd pleaser, and Damaged Goods provided the rest of the night with his party rockin’, booty shakin’ song list, anything to make the dead and undead dance the night away. I’ve been to this party before, so it’s safe to say that any friday will be a packed friday at Louis, holiday or not.
I heard “Arcade” at White Room was a great party when they brought in BassNectar the week before, so I decided to check it out this Saturday as they brought in Drop The Lime. OverThrow and Trouble & Bass shirts were in almost every picture, as they teamed up for a special Arcade. Drop The Lime was awesome, as expected, and The Captain was also a huge hit with the crowd of sweaty dancing bodies! Check this post out! On May 29th we had Teen Wolf and TokaDsko at XOXO in Miami, performing for their first time EVER in florida! Las Vegas definitely took over Miami as these cool cats threw down some bangers to keep the whole club stompin’, exactly what we were expecting from them! Check out the pics, along with their myspace pages to keep up with ‘em.

XOXO in Miami was packed last friday!! DJ’s Jason Tyler, Commissioner, Eric Lopez and Dustin Edward kept the party rockin from 10 to 5!! There will be no XOXO in Miami this friday May 22nd, due to Memorial Day in South Beach. BUT we come back stronger and harder than ever with Teen Wolf and TOCADSKO May 29th!!
