This post contains more than just the XOXO party from last friday, as it includes a house party as well as N.A.S.A. at the Abbey Pub last saturday!  Three exciting nights that I am going to cram into one post and call it XOXO to Chicago!  We are now living in Miami, South Beach to be exact.  However, Jason Tyler and Dustin Edward will be coming back to the Crocodile in Chicago every first friday of the month for a good ol’ fashioned XOXO get-down! XOXO continues every friday thereafter with Kid Color and friends bringing the music and the fun!  That being said, we will see you all on April 3rd at Crocodile!! Stay warm:)

We started last friday off with the Verse Fashion show which had a huge turnout of 150+ people crammed into the basement of Crocodile!  Check out Ryan Mitchell’s photos from the fashion show here.  After the fashion show we jumped right into XOXO.  Crocodile was packed from open to close, proving XOXO is the place to be on friday nights!! Zebo rocked the Crocodile last friday at XOXO.  From XOXO we went to Evil Olive for Zebo’s friday night party!  Jason Tyler DJ’d, making it a party for sure.  Check out the pics from both events and come out this friday to XOXO at the Crocodile!

That’s right! Lady Sovereign, while on tour in the U.S., stopped in Chicago to perform in front of a near-packed Logan Square Auditorium.  She performed songs off of her upcoming album with great crowd response as well as making the crowd go crazy over such hits as “Love Me or Hate Me” and “Public Warning.”  After laying low for the past two years working on music, she seems well prepared for a return to the spotlight, with a full-length album coming in April!  After the performance we stopped by the Crocodile for some pizza and pool.  Check out the pics and be sure to check out Lady Sovereign’s myspace page for her new music!  We can only hope the Lady with a Sovereign ring will be back soon!

If you haven’t been to XOXO on friday nights at the Crocodile yet, you’re definitely missing out on one of Chicago’s top friday night Dance Party’s!!  There is never a cover, free pizza and the best dance music around!  Last friday we celebrated Lance Milk‘s Birthday, who DJ’d alongside Jason Tyler and Buster Brown.  It was packed 10-2 with people dancing!! Lance Milk layed down a killer set, followed by Jason Tyler playing the trumpet over his set!  Check out this set of pics from last week, and be sure to come out this friday to XOXO at the Crocodile!

The Grand Opening of Crocodile, hosted by Dustin of PartyLikethis.com, helped establish the Crocodile as the new place-to-be in Wicker Park.  The awesome trio of DJ’s Jason Tyler, Lance Milk and Rand Sevilla kept people dancing all night! JoJo Baby also made an appearance! If you missed our first event, don’t worry, we are throwing a FREE NYE party at the same location!  After NYE we will be hosting every Friday at the Crocodile, jam-packed with local bands, rockin’ DJ’s and surprise hosts!
