After celebrating Christmas, we headed up to Minneapolis for a couple nights of mayhem.  After a pre-party with some friends, our first stop of the weekend was Envy, a sure favorite of anyone looking for dance music on a Saturday night!  Jason Tyler was sure to fill the floor upon taking the decks over, and packed the back room before leaving for the Saloon.  The Saloon was an awesome transition, as it was already packed with people waiting on the arrival of Jason.  Sure enough, Jason took no time in getting everyone up on their feet and dancing, which isn’t very hard when you hear a trumpet blazing to the beat.  Minneapolis was definitely a blast!  I always know a fun weekend by still being hung over come monday.  Check out the “City of Lakes,” and let me know what YOU think!

The Grand Opening of Crocodile, hosted by Dustin of PartyLikethis.com, helped establish the Crocodile as the new place-to-be in Wicker Park.  The awesome trio of DJ’s Jason Tyler, Lance Milk and Rand Sevilla kept people dancing all night! JoJo Baby also made an appearance! If you missed our first event, don’t worry, we are throwing a FREE NYE party at the same location!  After NYE we will be hosting every Friday at the Crocodile, jam-packed with local bands, rockin’ DJ’s and surprise hosts! Milky Way, was the name of the Stardust party last thursday, featuring Rand Sevilla and Jason Tyler DJing from open to close! Jason Tyler celebrated his birthday by laying down a flawless set of banging music that had everyone on their feet. The party was hosted by Miss Mini, Scott Cramer, Bobby Pins and Rew, all packing fun and people into Berlin! Check out the pictures and Berlin on thursday nights for the weekly Stardust party!

If you haven’t already seen Jason Tyler’s first music video “Run Around,” you must have been living under a rock for the past two weeks. From the same guys who brought you the Cool Kids “Black Mags” video, comes another awesome music video. Featured on Urb.com and numerous music blogs, this video is sure to grab your attention and take you along for a “Run Around” of Chicago. From bikes built twice the height as normal to bicycles built for two, and from club-kid JoJo’s attic to an alley with Jason blaring the trumpet this video shows what summers in Chicago really are, away from mainstream. “Dance Planet,” a night featuring DJ’s Jason Tyler, The Livewire and Demchuk, had a great turnout! In one of Chicago’s newest clubs, it was hard not to dance. Featuring a belly-dance performance by Kyren and Jason Tyler blaring on the trumpet, everyone was well entertained. If you’re looking for something new and fun, check out the Cat’s Meow!
